Chinese consumer electronics company Dreame has officially entered the automotive spotlight with its first electric vehicle, the Kosmera Nebula 1, revealed in Las Vegas.
The quad-motor EV produces an astonishing 1,876 hp (1,902 PS / 1,399 kW) and reportedly accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 1.8 seconds, putting it in the same performance bracket as high-end Chinese exotics like the Yangwang U9 and Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, as well as established European supercars.
For months, early renders suggested Dreame’s design was inspired heavily by the Bugatti Chiron, with critics noting the resemblance to rare one-off models from Molsheim.
However, the production-ready prototype seen at CES has taken a more athletic turn, resembling Ferrari and Lotus designs more than Bugatti.
While there are subtle similarities, such as the C-pillar kink reminiscent of the Bugatti Brouillard, the Nebula 1’s front end clearly evokes a Ferrari F8 Tributo rather than any Chiron.

The aggressive carbon fiber lower aero kit and motorsport-style trunk-lid wing hint at serious racetrack capability, even though the car will feature four doors.
Interestingly, Dreame’s Kosmera brand is teasing two additional low-slung four-door models at CES.
One appears to be a variant of the Nebula 1, while the third car shows a front-wheel pushed further away from the A-pillar and two visible charging/fuel flaps, indicating a front-engine plug-in hybrid layout.
The Nebula 1 remains a concept without a completed interior, leaving room for design changes before production reportedly begins later this year at Dreame’s Berlin, Germany facility, located near Tesla’s Gigafactory.
If performance and pricing match expectations, the Kosmera Nebula 1 could present serious competition for Porsche’s Taycan and other high-performance EVs.
