The GT treatment has arrived for the EV3 subcompact SUV, the EV4 hatchback and fastback, and the EV5 compact SUV.

Kia is following through on its promise to give every electric model in its lineup a performance-oriented variant. At the Brussels Motor Show, the brand revealed the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, expanding its growing roster of high-performance EVs.

Sitting at the top of their respective ranges, these GT versions bring more powerful dual-motor drivetrains, a dedicated GT driving mode, revised chassis tuning, and sportier styling inside and out.

For context, the EV3 is Kia’s subcompact SUV offering, the EV4 is available in both hatchback and fastback body styles, and the EV5 slots in as a compact SUV.

In typical Kia fashion, the full GT models don’t stray far visually from the existing GT-Line trims. The differences are subtle rather than dramatic, though all three ride on distinctive 20-inch alloy wheels that help set them apart.

Inside, the cabins reflect the performance brief with semi-bucket seats, GT-branded steering wheels, bold neon accents, and ambient lighting that changes based on the selected drive mode. Standard equipment is generous, including features such as a Harman Kardon premium sound system, a head-up display, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

Under the skin, all three GT models are built on Kia’s E-GMP platform and use the same 81.4 kWh battery pack. Despite the shared hardware, output varies slightly depending on the model. The EV3 GT and EV4 GT both produce 282 hp (215 kW / 286 PS), while the larger EV5 GT gets a modest bump to 302 hp (225 kW / 286 PS).

According to Kia, the low-slung EV4 GT offers “an even more agile and road-focused interpretation of the GT philosophy”. It also leads the trio in straight-line performance, sprinting from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.6 seconds.

Close behind, the smaller EV3 GT completes the same run in 5.7 seconds. The EV5 GT, which carries more weight due to its larger footprint and SUV proportions, reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.2 seconds.

All three models feature a dedicated GT drive mode that sharpens throttle response, steering feel, and the tuning of the standard electronically controlled suspension. Kia has also equipped them with e-torque vectoring, Virtual Gear Shift (VGS), and active sound design systems, all intended to make the driving experience more engaging and dynamic.

Production of the GT versions is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with pricing and market availability to be confirmed closer to launch.

With the addition of the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, Kia’s electric GT lineup now spans from compact to flagship models, joining the already available EV6 GT and EV9 GT.
