Gatik says it has become the first U.S. company to operate fully driverless trucks at commercial scale, completing 60,000 orders to date.

Gatik says it has reached a major milestone in autonomous logistics, becoming the first company in North America to run fully driverless trucks in large-scale commercial service. Since launching its freight-only driverless operations in mid-2025, the company has completed 60,000 deliveries without incident.

The autonomous trucking firm reports having more than $600 million in contracted revenue and currently operates 26-foot and 30-foot trucks for nearly 24 hours a day. Its driverless fleet is active across the Dallas–Fort Worth area in Texas, the Phoenix metropolitan region in Arizona, and Northwest Arkansas. These vehicles serve Fortune 50 retailers and operate without a human driver or safety observer onboard.

To date, Gatik has accumulated more than 2,000 hours of fully driverless operation and logged over 10,000 autonomous miles on public roads. Its delivery routes span distances of up to 400 miles, linking distribution centers, warehouses, and retail locations.

The trucks handle a range of cargo types, including ambient, refrigerated, and frozen goods, and the company says it is preparing to expand its driverless services into additional U.S. markets.

Gatik’s commercial deployment builds on its ongoing partnership with Isuzu Motors. Through this collaboration, Gatik integrates its SAE Level 4 autonomous driving technology into Isuzu’s medium-duty truck platforms. Both companies are now progressing toward a mass-production program for autonomous-ready vehicles.

In a statement, Gautam Narang, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Gatik, said: “Autonomous trucking is no longer a promise. It’s a business. With more than $600 million in contracted revenue, Gatik has proved that autonomous trucking is not only possible but commercially viable, and the fierce demand for our solution reflects how quickly this new model will reshape the future of logistics.”

Isuzu Motors added: “This represents an important step in bringing autonomous driving technologies into commercial logistics operations.”
