The iconic Scrambler is out again with cool new updates and a makeover to look more sporty and classy. Ducati recently released their exclusive Scrambler 800 Urban Motard in the Indian market. With this new launch, Ducati has expanded its Scrambler series. This new bike is a piece of attention because it is covered in unique exterior paint Livery by Centro Stile Ducati, it is a combination of Stark White and Ducati GP’19 red color, inspired by the world of street art and metropolitan graffiti. This bike will target the millennials, the company stated. This Energetic, contemporary, and fun bike is all set to make the sales go high. It is a stand-out bike and indubitably a head-turner.
Urban Motard’s Looks
Ducati gave a new paint scheme to this all-new cafe racer and it has become the highlight of the new bike. Its headlights come with a LED DRL, which is a highlight in the Scrambler Family and the rear light has full LED diffusion technology. It has a high-set Mudguard and a flat black seat with the Ducati logo.
New Scrambler’s features
This new roadster bike is enabled with Ducati Multimedia System. It lets the rider connect the bike with Bluetooth and it also comes with a USB socket, which is placed under the seat. The speedometer, Odometer, Tripmeter, and Tachometer, all come in digital type. The seat is a single-type seat in the new bike. The bike has only self-start and comes with a hydraulically controlled slipper and self-servo wet multi-plate clutch.

The engine of the Urban Motard
New Scrambler is powered by an 803 cc L twin engine with desmodromic diffusion. This engine delivers 74 hp at 8250 rpm and 65.7 Nm of torque at 5750 rpm. The transmission provided in the bike is by 6-speed manual unit. This new bike has a dry weight of 180kgs, therefore it is considered a lightweight bike.
Chassis, Suspension, and Tyres
The chassis comes with a trellis frame in black tubular steel. It has Kayaba suspension both at the front and at the rear. 17″ spoked wheels ascended on Pirelli Diablo Rosso III – 120/70 at the front and 180/55 tires make this bike look more sporty. Brakes at both ends are disc brakes. The bike comes with Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment.
Pricing of the New Scrambler
Ducati launched the all-new Scrambler Urban Motard bike in India for ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom price in India) and it is available for sale across Indian markets. It is said to be the rival of BMW and Triumph bikes.
