Toyota vehicles are usually very reliable, but there’s a problem with one of their models. It’s the Tundra, a big truck. Now, there’s another issue with it. This time, it’s about the V6 engine in the newer Tundra and Lexus LX.
Toyota has said that they need to recall around 102,000 trucks and SUVs. These are from the years 2022 to 2023. They’re sold in North America. The problem is with the V6 engines in these vehicles. They might suddenly stop working.
The problem with the engine is that there might be some dirt left inside it during the making. That’s not good because it can cause many problems. It might make the engine sound strange, run roughly, lose power, or even not start at all. If the engine stops working suddenly, it could cause a crash. But Toyota didn’t say if this has happened yet.
Toyota is working on fixing this problem. They haven’t said exactly what they’re going to do. But they will let the owners know by July 2024. The owners can also check online to see if their vehicle is part of the recall. Right now, there aren’t many details about this recall on the government’s website.
These Tundra trucks from 2022 and 2023 haven’t had the best luck. There was another problem with them before. Some people sued Toyota, saying that these trucks had dangerous fuel lines. This could cause a fire. So, Toyota had to recall around 168,000 Tundras last year to fix this problem.
