      This door guard does its job. It secures nice and tight on the door. This does NOT use any sticky tape or adhesive. It's a molded plastic that also has little tiny metal/aluminum pieces to keep its shape, similar to a snake. Because of this, it allows it to form to the curves of the door really easily. I was able to get 9 of my cars' doors with one of these rolls. It also has a little pattern on it as well, so its not a smooth finish, which also reminds me of a snake a little bit. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it left a little bit of black residue on my hands especially after pushing it up against the door edges, but it did wash off.
