FIA Confirms 2026 Engine Formula With Sustainability In Mind

The revised powertrain regulations, which go into effect with the 2026 season, have now been officially announced by the FIA and F1.

The Formula 1 vehicles will be using much less power and emit no net Carbon dioxide beginning in 2026.

So, what are the new engine regulations?

Fully sustainable fuel

Electrical Energy will be tripled

1,000 bhp of power

Only 70 kg fuel  for races

MGU-K will now be housed inside the chassis

MGU-H removed
