Maserati is expanding its electrified portfolio beyond the roads and into the open waters with the reveal of the Tridente electric speedboat, which is just in time for summer adventures. Partnering with EV marine company VitaPower, Maserati introduces the Tridente as the ideal battery-electric tender for luxury mega-yachts.

Featuring two electric motors boasting a combined 600 horsepower, the Tridente offers a cruising range of up to 43 miles, ensuring smooth and silent journeys on the water. A prototype of the vessel has been revealed, showcasing the luxurious design and performance capabilities expected from the Maserati brand. Orders are now being accepted, with delivery estimated to take around 10 months.

Imagine cruising to the coast in your Maserati and seamlessly transitioning to a day on the sea in a matching electric powerboat. Maserati’s Tridente offers this dream scenario, merging automotive elegance with marine innovation. Developed in collaboration with VitaPower, the Tridente inherits the sleek design and advanced technology of Vita’s Lion powerboat concept, enhanced to embody the essence of Maserati luxury.

Equipped with a large touchscreen at the helm, spacious seating for eight, and a sundeck bed with a swim platform at the stern, the Tridente ensures both comfort and style. With four batteries strategically placed on board, the 34-foot speedboat achieves a top speed of 40 knots and can cruise at 25 knots for up to 43 miles before requiring recharging.

Quick replenishment via a DC connection allows for minimal downtime, with the battery fully charged in as little as an hour. Designed for day excursions or serving as a tender for larger yachts, the Tridente offers emission-free cruising without compromising on performance or luxury. A sun canopy provides shade during the day, while a small cabin ahead of the helm offers additional comfort with a bed, toilet, and sink.

Unlike its automotive counterparts, the Tridente presents a more accessible price point, starting at $2,660,000. With its exquisite craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, the Tridente promises to promote the experience of luxury yachting for discerning enthusiasts around the world.
