The newly upgraded 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron has arrived in the United States with enhancements in power, performance, and range, all without a price increase.
Starting at $55,200 for the Q4 55 e-tron and $58,200 for the Sportback variant, the pricing remains unchanged from the outgoing model, a rarity in the automotive industry when improvements are made.
The new Q4 55 e-tron models boast an additional 40 horsepower, totaling 335 hp, enabling a swift acceleration to 60 mph in five seconds flat, a notable improvement over its predecessor.
Moreover, for those prioritizing ranges, the new Q4 model offers an extra 22 miles compared to the previous version, totaling 258 miles according to EPA estimates.
Enhancements extend beyond power and range, with a new rear axle featuring a more efficient synchronous electric motor, ensuring improved performance and efficiency. The suspension has been fine-tuned for enhanced comfort, while sharper steering provides a dynamic driving experience without compromising on comfort.
Battery improvements are also notable, with the 2024 Q4 55 e-tron featuring an 82 kWh battery, enabling rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes, with a maximum DC charging power increased to 175 kW.
Customers can choose from three trim levels (Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige) and four exterior colors, with additional options including a Black Optic package and a Trailer Hitch.
Looking ahead, Audi is set to introduce the Q6 e-tron, positioned between the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron, promising robust power, performance, and refinement, expected to debut on March 18. Sharing its platform with the new Porsche Macan EV, the Q6 e-tron is anticipated to deliver a compelling electric SUV offering.
