The 2024 Audi Q5 and SQ5 models have undergone a notable price increase, rising by up to $5900 following adjustments implemented on January 1.

Despite the hike, the Audi Q5, known as the brand’s second top-selling model in Australia, has been updated for the 2024 model year.

Audi Australia’s spokesperson explained, “Due to ongoing disruptions to global markets, increases in the costs of raw materials and logistics mean that Audi Australia has seen an increase in prices across the model range.”

This escalation in prices ranges from $1430 to $5900 across the Q5 lineup, including the sportier SQ5 variants. Moreover, the 2024 Audi Q5 now exclusively offers the 40 TDI and 45 TFSI wagon variants in Sport trim. A company spokesperson elaborated, “From MY24, we removed the non-sport variants of this car to streamline and refine the Q5 range.”

Despite these adjustments, the Q5 range has received several upgrades for the 2024 model year, including standard adaptive cruise control, Turn Assist, Swerve Assist, Predictive Efficiency Assistant, and Arkona White exterior paint.

The Audi Q5 measures 4682mm in length, 1893mm in width, and 1663mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2832mm and boot capacity ranging from 520L to 1520L.

Meanwhile, the Q5 Sportback measures 4689mm in length, 1893mm in width, and 1661mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2829mm and a boot capacity of 510L. The Audi range is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty in Australia, with maintenance required every 12 months or 15,000 kilometers.

However, all Audi Q5 and SQ5 models from January 1, 2024, lack a safety rating from safety authority ANCAP due to the expiration of the original test results from 2017. Standard safety features across the Q5 lineup include autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and more.

Additionally, a range of optional packages and individual cost options are available, allowing customers to tailor their vehicles to their preferences. The prices for the 2024 Audi Q5 and SQ5 models have been raised by up to $5900, effective January 1, 2024, due to global market disruptions and increased costs of raw materials and logistics.

The range now starts at $70,850 for the Audi Q5 35 TDI and extends to $126,600 for the flagship SQ5 TDI Sportback. Various trim levels and engine options are available, with price increases ranging from $1430 to $5900 across the lineup.

All prices include Luxury Car Tax (LCT) and exclude on-road costs, reflecting Audi’s commitment to delivering premium vehicles with enhanced features and performance capabilities.

Fuel consumption and emissions vary across the models, with the Q5 35 TDI consuming 4.8L/100km and emitting 125g/km of CO2, while the SQ5 TDI Quattro consumes 7.0-7.1L/100km and emits 185-186g/km of CO2.

The Audi Q5 and SQ5 models come with a range of standard and optional features, including advanced safety technologies, infotainment systems, and luxury appointments, allowing customers to customize their vehicles according to their preferences.
