One of the most eagerly awaited luxury jets has officially commenced operations. The initial pair of G700 units have been delivered to customers, poised to showcase their prowess. Gulfstream clientele is accustomed to superior standards, and the inaugural deliveries of the G700 did not disappoint, occurring at an unprecedented pace, considering that FAA-type certification was granted less than a month prior.

There’s no time to spare when it comes to deploying these state-of-the-art aircraft. Enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to experience all that they have to offer, and that moment has arrived.

The G700 represents a harmonious blend of long-range performance and unparalleled luxury in the business jet sector. Its primary allure lies in its exceptional cabin, replete with top-tier features. Highlighting its offerings is the claim to provide the lowest cabin altitude available (2,916 ft/889 meters at 41,000 ft/12,497 meters), crucial for optimal comfort during extended flights. Moreover, it boasts the industry’s sole ultra-galley, offering over ten feet (three meters) of countertop space.

Following rigorous flight testing, the Gulfstream flagship has demonstrated its ability to surpass targeted performance metrics. The G700 has validated a range of 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 km at Mach 0.85 and 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90.

Furthermore, its maximum operating speed has been increased from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935, currently the fastest across the entire Gulfstream fleet. Propelling this ultra-luxurious jet is the robust Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engine, certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2022.

Furthermore, the G700 had to meet more stringent safety standards as the first business jet to undergo FAA certification following the enactment of the new 2020 Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act, which it accomplished admirably. With the initial deliveries underway, it appears that this will be a bustling year for Gulfstream and a thrilling one for G700 customers.
