Carl Cerra, the visionary behind Skunk Machine in Melbourne, Australia, is renowned for his ambitious projects and unwavering determination.

While he has been deeply involved in car customization, his foray into two-wheeled creations has recently garnered significant attention. One of his standout endeavors is the Cerra GT 865, marking his inaugural professional build.

Crafted from a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, the Cerra GT 865 captured widespread acclaim, surpassing Carl’s initial expectations.

Encouraged by its success, Carl embarked on transforming it into a limited series while also planning to equip his workshop with cutting-edge 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies. And true to form, another exceptional build soon followed.

Enter the Bullitt GT 865, based on a 2022 Continental GT. Commissioned by a client named Stu, this project aimed for a neo-retro cafe racer aesthetic brimming with elegance and visual allure. After a meticulous year-long transformation, the result is a captivating blend of style and performance, poised to turn heads wherever it roams.

Significant chassis enhancements define the Bullitt GT 865’s character, with bespoke CNC-machined triple clamps supporting inverted Showa forks at the front, ensuring a smooth and adjustable ride. Complementing this setup are aftermarket shock absorbers from Ikon, delivering enhanced rear-end stability.

To bolster stopping power, radial Brembo calipers and large floating brake rotors adorn the front end, marrying form with function. Paired with grippy Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber mounted on Excel hoops, this setup ensures confident handling and precise control.

Under the hood, the Bullitt GT 865 undergoes a significant transformation, courtesy of Revelry Cycles. An S&S big bore kit elevates the parallel-twin engine’s displacement to 865cc, accompanied by premium pod filters and custom exhaust pipework. This powerhouse promises exhilarating performance while retaining its classic charm.

Visually, the Bullitt GT 865 exudes sophistication, with a bespoke steel subframe housing elegant carbon fiber bodywork. A meticulously crafted fuel tank, adorned with Croatian symbolism, serves as a centerpiece, complemented by a custom-made carbon fiber tail and LED lighting strip.

Inside the cockpit, Motogadget gauges and controls adorn the handlebars, offering intuitive functionality and timeless aesthetics. The attention to detail extends to every facet, from the Alcantara-clad seat to the carbon fiber front fender, meticulously assembled to perfection.

With its fusion of classic styling and modern performance, the Bullitt GT 865 exemplifies Carl Cerra’s commitment to excellence, setting a new standard in custom motorcycle craftsmanship.
