The electric motorcycle market continues to evolve, driven by innovation and competition among various startups. One such company making waves is Ryvid, a California-based startup that recently revealed its latest offering, the Outset.

Following the success of their urban commuter, the Anthem, Ryvid introduced the Outset a scrambler-style ride designed for both urban commuting and off-road adventures. While sharing components with the Anthem, the Outset features notable differences in styling and functionality.

With a rigid steel frame, air-cooled brushless DC motor, and 4.3 kWh battery, the Outset offers a blend of versatility and performance.

Noteworthy features include a suspension system with greater travel, a longer and narrower seat reminiscent of motocross bikes, and redesigned elements like the headlight and handlebars.

While the Outset’s electric drivetrain provides a range of 70 miles in Eco mode and a top speed of 75 mph, its off-road capabilities set it apart from its predecessor. Additionally, its lightweight construction and agile handling make it ideal for moving around various terrains with ease.

Priced at $5,995, the Outset aims to be one of the world’s most affordable electric motorcycles, offering enthusiasts a compelling option for urban commuting and off-road exploration. Furthermore, Ryvid offers a unique opportunity for Anthem owners to convert their bikes into Outsets using a series of parts and tutorials, further enhancing the versatility and appeal of these electric motorcycles.
