2024 has been a relatively quiet year for motorcycle launches, but Buell’s Super Cruiser has generated significant anticipation. This highly anticipated model, an evolution of the 1190 motorcycle, aims to redefine the segment and drive Buell’s growth.
The Super Cruiser boasts several key improvements over its predecessor, including redesigned wheels and brakes. Under the hood, the proven 1190cc V twin engine delivers a powerful 175 horsepower, making it a formidable performer.
The bike’s lightweight design, weighing in at just 450 pounds, further enhances its agility. Buell first showcased the Super Cruiser concept at the 2023 Daytona Bike Week, followed by a pre production version this year.
While the production model isn’t expected to hit the market until late 2025, Buell has already opened order books, allowing enthusiasts to secure their bikes early. Buell announced this week that the highly anticipated Super Cruiser will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, September 12.
The bike will initially be offered at an introductory price of $23,900, a discount of $2,000 compared to the regular price of $25,900. However, this discounted price is only available until November 12.
Priority for the introductory price will be given to early supporters who have already pre ordered the Super Cruiser over the past year and a half. To secure their bike at the discounted price, they will need to place a $1,000 deposit, which will be deducted from the final cost.
Buell plans to send an exclusive email to early supporters later this week, notifying them of the pre order opportunity and the introductory pricing details.
While the exact number of early supporters is unknown, Buell estimates that it will take at least a week to reach everyone. It’s worth noting that the Super Cruiser has already generated $120 million in pre orders, indicating strong interest in the model.
