Manhart has unveiled a fresh carbon fiber enhancement package tailored for the latest BMW X5 M and X6 M, elevating the SUVs’ aesthetics to align with their heightened power and performance.

While some elements remain consistent with pre-facelift models, the German tuner has engineered new components, including a front spoiler, bumper inserts, rear bumper accents, and fender add-ons.

Visually, both the X5 M and X6 M now feature a more assertive hood design, characterized by prominent bulges hinting at the potent power beneath. The bumper, resembling the standard part, receives subtle carbon fiber touches strategically placed for enhancement.

Sportier side skirts contribute to an impression of lowered suspension, amplifying the vehicles’ athletic stance. At the rear, both models sport twin spoilers—one on the roof and another on the trunk lid—along with fender and rear bumper attachments.

To elevate the visual appeal, the carbon fiber components also enhance aerodynamics and reduce weight, although specific figures have not been disclosed. Customers can opt for either a traditional woven pattern or a more distinctive forged carbon finish.

Installation of the new enhancements is facilitated, allowing buyers to affix them using adhesives or screws, with the former being preferable to prevent lasting damage.

Manhart offers the add-ons individually rather than as a complete kit, affording customers the flexibility to select specific components according to their preferences. While mixing forged and woven carbon fiber may result in a unique aesthetic, it’s not a recommendation.

For the X6 M Competition, prices for forged carbon side skirts start at €3,470 (approximately $3,780), while the carbon fiber trunk lid ranges between $1,800 and $1,850. Accessories include a carbon roof spoiler ($1,630-$1,780), forged carbon wheel arches ($8,080), a two-piece rear bumper insert ($2,150), and a carbon hood with GTR vents ($6,940).

For the X5 M Competition, buyers can choose from a variety of accessories such as a carbon rear diffuser ($3,670-$3,830), a one-piece carbon trunk spoiler ($1,260-$1,390), a carbon rear diffuser ($1,600), and two-piece carbon side blades ($710). Both models are also available with Manhart wheels, including the Concave One design, priced at $5,300.

BMW introduced the updated X5 M and X6 M in 2023, featuring the new S68 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Equipped with mild-hybrid technology, the engine delivers 617 horsepower and 552 lb-ft of torque as standard, enhancing the performance duo’s capabilities.

For those seeking even greater power, Manhart offers tuning options to push outputs beyond 800 horsepower.
