The best way to show how BMW’s style and design will change in the next few years is to compare the new Vision Neue Klasse X with one of the company’s current SUVs like the X3, X5, or X7. The Vision Neue Klasse X is designed to be bold and expressive, with unique shapes and features that stand out. It’s quite different from BMW’s current SUVs.

The Neue Klasse X represents a return to BMW’s roots. The original Neue Klasse, which debuted in 1962 with the BMW 1500, was a big success for the company. It was a modern and stylish car that helped BMW become successful worldwide. The Vision Neue Klasse X follows in its footsteps, with a focus on modern design, technology, and sustainability.

The exterior of the Vision Neue Klasse X is quite different from BMW’s current SUV lineup. While it still has some familiar BMW features like kidney grilles and the Hofmeister kink, it’s more understated and subtle. The front grille is smaller and surrounded by unique lighting, and the whole look is more restrained.

The interior of the Vision Neue Klasse X blends new and old elements seamlessly. It features recycled and plant-based materials with warm colors and textures. The center screen is trapezoid-shaped and angled towards the driver, and there’s advanced technology like BMW’s Panoramic Vision tech, which projects information across the windshield.

Customization is a big part of the Neue Klasse philosophy. Buyers will be able to choose from a variety of options for things like infotainment layout, screen backgrounds, and even interior lighting colors. The Vision Neue Klasse X is also electric, with improved battery technology that offers better efficiency and faster charging.

BMW is betting big on its Neue Klasse architecture, with plans to incorporate its design principles into future vehicles. The first car based on the Neue Klasse architecture is set to debut in 2025, and BMW hopes it will set the tone for its future lineup. After seeing the Vision Neue Klasse X in person, there’s reason to be optimistic about BMW’s future.
