The German automaker BMW has revealed the features and pricing range of the 2023 BMW X1. X1 will be released in Australia in the later months of 2022. Earlier, it was said that X1 would launch in 2022 fall, but now it has been shifted to the end. Along with the BMW X1, German automakers will also launch the all-electric version iX1. This electric version of the BMW X1 will launch in early 2023. The new X1 will be the third gen in Australia.

BMW officially launched X1 in the global market in 2009. It is a compact SUV and comes in different body layouts. X1 is the entry-level SUV of BMW. Features Of The 2023 BMW X1

The German automaker has added some cool new features to their entry-level SUV. This new SUV will get a curved display with BMW’s Operating System 8. This Operating system will enhance the user interface of the whole car. Moreover, X1 is coming with a new generation Sensatec upholstery on the seats. Sensatec is synthetic leather that is seen in premium cars of BMW.

This leather is animal-free, and it adds an extra layer of comfort. Additionally, it gets Two-zone automatic climate control, adaptive LED headlights, a head-up display, Sensatec covered instrumental panel, new software updates, and wireless connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. X1 will get new sports seats that will fit with comfort. BMW has introduced its Intelligent Personal assistant and Live Cockpit Professional in the new X1.

The top variant of X1 gets more advanced features like xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system, heated front seats, electronic adjustments of the front seats, and it will also wear 19-inch alloy wheels.

“Features On Demand” After The Sale

With the release of the 2023 X1, BMW is launching the “Features on Demand” service. In this concept, BMW focuses on providing better sales and convenient services after the sale of the car. In this service, customers can upgrade any feature at any point time during their ownership. They can even activate new features. Features on Demand will be available at an extra cost. It will be offered through the BMW Connected drive store.

What Can We Expect From The Engine Of X1?

The new BMW X1 will feature a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower turbo engine. It will come with an optional 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower turbo engine. The 1.5 turbo engine can produce 115kWh and 230Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed Steptronic gearbox and double clutch set-up. Although, the details about acceleration and top speed are not out yet. We will disclose all the details as soon as the SUV rolls out for a test.

Pricing And Variants Of The 2023 X1

The Australian X1 will be launched after a few months, and we expect it to cater to many customers as it is an affordable SUV. It will come in two variants: sDrive18i and xDrive20i. The price for sDrive18i will be $53,900, and the xDrive20i will cost you $65,900. Thus, the sDrive18i is the base variant with all the standard equipment. While xDrive20i will offer you upgraded features and additional benefits.
