Porsche has officially unveiled the redesigned 2024 Panamera lineup, introducing the standard Panamera sedan and the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4, along with the top-tier Turbo E-Hybrid. The Sport Turismo wagon body style has been discontinued due to slow sales, but the latest Panamera generation promises advancements in technology, hybrid capability, luxury, and performance.

The exterior design of the new Panamera reflects an evolution from the second-gen model, featuring cleaner lines, more prominent front fenders reminiscent of a 911, larger air intakes, and a revised rear end highlighted by a full-width light bar. Noteworthy additions include new wheel designs, with central-locking wheels making their debut on a four-door Porsche.

Inside, the Panamera inherits elements from the Taycan EV, showcasing a gear selector toggle on the dashboard and up to three digital displays: a 12.6-inch unit for the instrument cluster and dual 10.9-inch center and optional passenger-side touchscreens. Enhanced comfort comes from new foam padding in the seats, available in materials beyond leather. The steering wheel now houses controls for drive modes and the instrument cluster, while an updated infotainment system improves functionality when connected to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

The Panamera’s adaptive cruise control and driver-assistance systems have been upgraded, allowing the car to be remotely parked in specific situations via a smartphone.

Powering the standard rear- and all-wheel-drive models is a revised turbocharged 2.9-liter V-6, producing 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. The Turbo E-Hybrid, the flagship model, boasts a formidable setup with a revamped twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, a more powerful electric motor, and a 21.8-kWh battery pack. This combination delivers an impressive 670 horsepower and 685 pound-feet of torque, promising exhilarating performance.

All third-gen Panameras come equipped with new two-chamber air springs and adaptive dampers as standard, offering the option for rear-axle steering for enhanced stability. The E-Hybrid models take it a step further with Porsche’s optional Active Ride system, eliminating anti-roll bars for improved body control and comfort across different driving modes.

Pricing for the new Panamera starts at $101,550 for the base model and $108,550 for the Panamera 4, with orders open for spring deliveries. The Turbo E-Hybrid, set to follow, is expected to surpass the outgoing Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan’s price, currently at $197,850. Additional details on the Turbo E-Hybrid will be disclosed closer to its on-sale date.
