The third-generation Panamera, which showcases improvements in technology, hybrid capabilities, and overall performance, was unveiled by Porsche. The Sport Turismo wagon, which was canceled because of poorer sales, especially in important markets like China and the U.S., is conspicuously missing from the range.

The manufacturer responded by saying, “With the launch of the new generation, we have decided to discontinue this model variant as the Sport Turismo plays only a minor role in our main markets in the D segment.”

In spite of the Sport Turismo’s disappearance, the 2024 Panamera sports a ton of innovative innovations. The new model promises better performance, more luxury, and stronger hybrid capabilities. Its design, which is an improvement over the second-generation model, has angular body lines and powerful front fenders that are evocative of the classic 911.

When entering the cabin, the Panamera offers a modern appearance and feel that is influenced by the Taycan EV. Three digital displays, including a 12.6-inch device for the instrument cluster and two 10.9-inch center and optional passenger-side touchscreens, are among the interior features.

The new Panamera’s engine is derived from the Cayenne SUV, which was recently modified. Its 2.9-liter V-6 turbocharged engine now produces 37 pound-feet of torque and 23 horsepower, more than its predecessor. As a result, 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque are produced overall.

With a starting price of $101,550, interested consumers can now submit orders for the 2024 Panamera. Porsche’s newest version of the Panamera promises aficionados a blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. The first deliveries are planned for the spring.
