Ford’s Upgraded 2025 Explorer Unveiled With Latest Tech

Ford has recently introduced the enhanced 2025 Explorer SUV in the United States, featuring some of the latest technological advancements from the American automaker. The vehicle is set to be available at dealerships in the second quarter of 2024.

The upgraded Ford Explorer showcases a significantly refined front, with a larger and wider grille at both the top and bottom. This redesign results in slightly narrower headlights, now positioned slightly higher towards the corners.

At the rear, notable changes include a completely new layout for the rear hatch, featuring a more straightforward cutout for the license plate. The taillights extend onto the tailgate and are visually connected, with the model name prominently displayed in the middle of this connecting part.

The interior of the Ford Explorer has also undergone a transformation. The dashboard is entirely new, characterized by more subdued lines. The vertically oriented infotainment screen has been replaced with a horizontally placed 13.2-inch screen, and the climate control is now operated through this screen.

Equipped with a range of standard features, the 2025 Explorer includes heated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight USB ports (with two in the third row), three 12-volt ports, a power liftgate, Ford Co-Pilot 360, and LED headlights.

Under the hood, the updated Explorer is powered by a 304 hp 2.3 four-cylinder engine or a 406 hp 3.0 V6. The power is transmitted to either the rear wheels or all four wheels through a ten-speed automatic transmission.
