Toyota has finally released the official MSRPs for the 2024 Land Cruiser ahead of its anticipated spring deliveries, prompting enthusiasts to explore the online configurator to tailor their ideal off-road ride.
With the return of the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser in America, it’s worth noting that this iteration, significantly different from the previous 2021 model, adopts the lighter 250 series instead of the full-size J300 Land Cruiser from overseas.
Aligned with the 2024 Lexus GX 550 on the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, the base model starts at a promised mid-$50k price point, specifically $55,950 without the $1,495 destination fee.
This pricing strategy positions it $30k below the previous Land Cruiser Toyota sold in America, potentially enhancing its appeal to customers. The US market will have just three available grades, including the base Land Cruiser 1958, the flagship First Edition priced at $76,445 (limited to 5k units), and the ‘Land Cruiser trim with a starting price of $61,950.
Taking advantage of Toyota’s updated online configurator, we indulged in crafting our dream Land Cruiser. Opting for the mid-tier ‘Land Cruiser’ trim in the striking dual-tone Trail Dust and Grayscape roof combination for $350, we selected the premium Black Leather interior with the Premium Package for $4,600 and upgraded to the 20-inch aluminum wheels for an additional $1,240.
Further enhancing our configuration with accessory additions, we equipped it with a $80 ball mount for trailering, illuminated doorsteps and Predator drop steps for $360 and $700 respectively, a $1,400 roof rack for camping adventures, and black chrome alloy wheel locks for $80.
These additions bumped the total MSRP by an additional $10k, resulting in a total of $72,155 excluding destination and other fees.
Anticipating dealer markups, we hope the 2024 Land Cruiser remains within an accessible price range for enthusiasts, steering clear of the inflated prices observed with the old 2021 model.
