Rare Opportunity: Hennessey Venom F5 Auction at Amelia Island

An exceptional opportunity awaits those keen on owning a piece of American automotive history in the making: the second Hennessey Venom F5 ever produced will be auctioned off next weekend at Amelia Island with no reserve. Among today’s hypercars, the Hennessey Venom stands out not only for its rarity but also for its unparalleled performance.

With only 24 units slated for production, all of which were sold out long ago, the Venom F5 holds a special place among enthusiasts.

The upcoming auction presents a unique chance for those who missed out initially to acquire one of these coveted vehicles. Estimated at $1,200,000 – $1,650,000, this auction offers a considerable opportunity given its original price of $2,487,000 including options.

This particular Venom F5 is the second in the series of 24 planned by Hennessey, with orders for the remaining two examples of 2025 now open. Notably, it is also part of the prestigious Racer X collection, adding to its allure among collectors.

Alongside other esteemed vehicles like the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and McLaren Senna, the Venom F5 commands attention as a pinnacle of American hypercar engineering.

The Venom F5 made headlines when it achieved a remarkable test score of 271.6 mph (437 kph) two years ago, instilling fear in competitors in the high-speed realm. Now, Hennessey aims even higher, with plans to pursue a 300-mph (484-kph) record, setting its sights on surpassing 310.8 mph (500 kph) in the process.

While the prospect of reaching 328 mph (528 kph) is within reach, it remains to be seen if any owner will dare to push the boundaries. Nonetheless, with its 6.6L Twin-Turbo ‘Fury’ V8 generating 1,817 horsepower and 1,617 lb-ft of torque, the Venom F5 embodies the epitome of speed and power. The auction for this remarkable vehicle is scheduled for Friday, March 1.
