KG Mobility, formerly recognized as SsangYong in Australia, has introduced the pinnacle of luxury with its latest flagship model, the Rexton Summit, in Korea. The Rexton Summit, inspired by the Rexton Limousine concept showcased at the Seoul Motor Show, redefines opulence with its upscale features and amenities.

Replacing the traditional second- and third-row benches found in the standard SUV, the Rexton Summit boasts two exquisitely crafted Nappa leather-upholstered, power-adjustable second-row seats. These seats offer unparalleled comfort and versatility, with the ability to recline by 140 degrees and slide by 16.8cm.

Positioned between the seats is a console equipped with a refrigerator, touchscreen, and wireless phone charger. Furthermore, passengers can indulge in entertainment on the go with a pair of 14-inch screens, enabling access to streaming services such as Netflix.

While the Rexton Summit promises an immersive audio experience with its “super surround system,” the available information suggests a six-speaker setup. Interior options include elegant Snow Beige or classic black finishes.

In terms of performance enhancements, the Rexton Summit features a newly designed acceleration logic and power booster for seamless yet dynamic acceleration. Additionally, the suspension has been finely tuned, complemented by 20-inch “low-noise” all-terrain tires.

While these luxurious offerings are captivating, it remains uncertain if the Rexton Summit will make its way to Australian shores. SsangYong Australia has yet to confirm any plans for the model’s availability in the country.

Although the Rexton received recent updates, such as a revamped dashboard design featuring a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen display and touch-capacitive climate control switchgear, Australian variants continue to lack certain advanced features like adaptive cruise control, which are standard in Korea.
