McLaren Automotive, the luxury British automaker born out of the motorsport-focused McLaren Group, has a rich history dating back to 1985. However, it gained widespread recognition with the iconic McLaren F1 in 1992.

After a hiatus following the F1 production, McLaren Automotive reemerged in 2010 with the introduction of the MP4-12C, marking the beginning of a new era. Notably, in 2015, McLaren restructured its model lineup into Sports, Super, and Ultimate Series.

Today, McLaren’s lineup includes models like the Artura hybrid in the Sports Series, the 750S as the flagship in the Super Series, and a range of Ultimates such as the Senna, Speedtail, and Elva. Additionally, the McLaren GT serves as the brand’s first grand tourer.

While the Artura and 750S represent the bulk of sales, the company’s latest model, the 750S, is a refreshed version of the acclaimed 720S. Despite its success, the 750S is anticipated to be short-lived in the market due to advancements in hybrid technology.

Looking ahead, speculation arises about McLaren’s next move, with digital car content creators envisioning potential successors to the 720S. Notably, a concept by Giorgi Tedoradze presents the 2027 McLaren 820S, hinting at a continuation of McLaren’s legacy of high-performance sports cars.
