Peugeot expands its lineup with the introduction of the new e-5008, an electric crossover offering three rows of seats and partially electrified powertrain options.
The Peugeot e-5008 features two two-wheel drive powertrains, delivering 211 hp and 228 hp on the Long Range variant, with identical torque at 254 lb-ft. The Long Range model offers a range of 311 miles, while the standard version extends it to 410 miles.
Leading the EV family is a bi-motor all-wheel drive variant, boasting a combined 318 hp. Equipped with 400V technology, it supports 160 kW DC charging capabilities, adding 62 miles in just 10 minutes.
Customers can opt for a mild-hybrid powertrain, blending a 136-hp gasoline engine with an electric motor. A plug-in hybrid variant will follow, offering a 148 hp engine and a 123 hp electric motor, with over 50 miles of all-electric range.
Measuring 188.6 inches in length, the e-5008 offers ample cargo space and configurable seating options. It features 19 or 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, and a luxurious interior with advanced connectivity and safety features.
Launching in fall 2024 in Allure and GT trim levels, with optional packs, pricing details are forthcoming. With an estimated starting price of £40,000 for the entry-level model and £50,000 for the e-5008, Peugeot’s latest offering promises versatility and sustainability in the electric crossover segment.
