Jay Leno recently had the opportunity to explore a 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet, an outstanding vehicle crafted by Revology Cars. Founder and CEO Tom Scarpello prefers to refer to it as a “reproduction” rather than a replica, emphasizing the evolution and innovation incorporated into each new creation.

This particular Mustang, showcased on the latest episode of “Jay Leno’s Garage,” boasts a fastback silhouette painted in blue and incorporates modern features like LED lighting and power amenities.

Under the hood lies a 5.0-liter V8 engine sourced from the current Mustang lineup, enhanced with a supercharged version developed by Roush, delivering an impressive 710 horsepower.

Unlike the original, this reproduction features a factory engine package integrated with modern transmissions, offering either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic. To ensure efficient cooling, modern cooling systems are utilized, ideal for various climates, including the scorching heat of the Middle East.

Revology meticulously crafts each vehicle in-house, staying true to the original design while incorporating functional enhancements. For instance, larger wheels accommodate modern brake packages, enhancing both performance and safety.

With only 190 cars delivered in the past decade, Revology maintains a commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Whether registered as a 1968 model using a donor vehicle or built entirely from scratch, each vehicle embodies Revology’s dedication to innovation and excellence.
