Volkswagen introduced the ID.7 at the Shanghai Auto Show a year ago, and now it’s gearing up for its US debut in the third quarter. While pricing and range estimates for the US market are yet to be revealed, Volkswagen of America has provided insights into the ID.7’s trims and configurations.

Built on the MEB architecture, the ID.7 offers advanced features and recent upgrades, ensuring its competitiveness in the evolving EV market. With capabilities like 200-kW fast charging and improved efficiency, Volkswagen aims to challenge rivals like the Tesla Model S.

In Europe, pricing for the ID.7 starts at approximately $61,600, but the US variants will be better equipped, with only top trims available. Expected to launch with Pro S and Pro S Plus variants, each version will offer both RWD and AWD configurations, powered by an 82-kWh battery pack.

Luxury features like a large infotainment screen, augmented reality head-up display and massage seats will be standard on the Pro S model, while the Pro S Plus adds premium amenities like adaptive damping suspension and a high-end sound system. Advanced driver assistance features are also included across all models, ensuring a safe and enjoyable driving experience.
