It seems like car companies choose days when there’s a total eclipse to introduce cars with black-out trim packages. Ford is joining in with a new Black Appearance Package for the 2024 Bronco Raptor.
The main idea is simple: Take a Bronco Raptor and add a lot of black trim. They paint the top, roll bar, mirror caps, and fender flares in glossy black. The steel bumper, tow hooks, and skid plate are painted in a matte black color. They also add special black vinyl graphics. Ford got the idea for the painted skid plate from customers who did it themselves on their Broncos.
But that’s all there is to the package – just black accents. It doesn’t come with any extra equipment like the Jeep does. However, since the Bronco Raptor already comes with a lot of features, there’s not much more you can add. Still, paying almost $5,000 just for black paint and stickers might seem a bit too much, especially when the truck itself costs over $90,000.
