Acura has officially announced the arrival of the ADX, a new subcompact luxury SUV set to hit the market early next year. Positioned below the compact RDX, the ADX is expected to bring turbocharged power, potentially sourced from the Honda Civic Si, to the Acura lineup.

While details about the ADX remain limited, it is anticipated that genetic traits will be shared with both the Honda HR-V and the Civic. Acura has described the ADX as a “gateway” vehicle, aligning with the entry-level ethos of the Integra sedan. Although not confirmed, it’s speculated that the ADX will draw inspiration from both the Civic sedan and the HR-V subcompact crossover.

The ADX is projected to feature a turbocharged engine, likely adopting the same 200-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine utilized in the Honda Civic Si and Integra models, possibly paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

With the impending launch of the ZDX electric crossover and the introduction of the ADX, Acura is poised to expand its SUV portfolio significantly next year. The ADX will position Acura competitively in the luxury SUV segment, challenging rivals such as the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Lexus UX.

Scheduled to debut as a 2025 model early next year, pricing details for the ADX are yet to be revealed. However, it’s expected to fill the price gap between the $32,995 Integra sedan and the $45,700 RDX crossover in the Acura lineup.
