At Mecum’s Houston 2024 auction, five Demon 170s were up for grabs, fetching staggering sums ranging from $167,750 to $242,000. These remarkable prices underscore the fervent demand for these high-performance machines, with buyers willing to pay a premium for low-mileage, well-maintained examples.
Among the highlights was a Plum Crazy Demon with only 16 miles on the odometer, selling for $242,000, and a Sublime variant with just 18 miles fetching $198,000. Even a green Demon with 57 miles sold for $167,750, with proceeds from its sale donated to charity.
