Kia has revealed the facelifted Sorento lineup in the United Kingdom after much anticipation. Available in 2, 3, and 4 trim levels, each variant offers a choice of diesel, self-charging hybrid, or plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The entry-level 2024 Kia Sorento 2, starting at £41,995 ($52,990), features 17-inch alloys (19-inch on the PHEV), rear privacy windows, a 4-inch driver display, cloth and artificial leather upholstery, and a suite of safety features alongside a 12.3-inch infotainment system and dual-zone A/C.
Stepping up to the 2024 Kia Sorento 3, priced from £46,195 ($58,290), adds 19-inch wheels, LED ‘4-cube’ headlamps, black leather upholstery, ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Bose audio, a wireless charging pad, and advanced safety systems like highway driving assist and forward collision avoidance.

The range-topping 2024 Kia Sorento 4 starts at £50,695 ($63,970) and offers exclusive 19-inch alloys (20-inch on the diesel), black Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, digital key, fingerprint tech, head-up display, electrically adjustable front seats, alloy pedals, remote smart park assist, and more.
Powering the Sorento lineup are options like the 2.2-liter CRDi diesel engine generating 190 hp, a self-charging hybrid 1.6L unit producing 212 hp, or a plug-in hybrid assembly delivering 249 hp.
In the United States, the 2024 Kia Sorento LX is the most affordable variant, starting at $31,900. Equipped with a 191 hp 2.5-liter gasoline engine and front-wheel drive, it offers LED projector headlamps, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, smartphone integration, and advanced safety features. Higher trims offer more power and additional amenities, with hybrid variants providing enhanced efficiency and electric driving range.
