Behold a distinctive automotive marvel: a 2014 Ferrari F12berlinetta, transformed by the Italian marque into a development prototype for the F12tdf. Post-Ferrari modifications included detuning the 6.2-liter V12 engine to a maximum speed of a mere 15 mph, rendering it non-road legal.

Despite its unconventional status, a California-based dealership seeks to capitalize on its 1-of-1 rarity, rejecting bids upwards of $475,000. The exterior exudes sophistication with a satin black finish, adorned with white vinyl roundels, Pirelli graphics, and standard F12berlinetta accents.

Inside, opulent yellow leather envelops the cabin, accentuated by carbon fiber trim, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and modern conveniences, albeit limited by its non-road legal status.

Powering this unique specimen is a detuned 6.3-liter V12 engine, transmitting 707 horsepower to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, albeit with modifications unlocking an astounding 1,150 horsepower.

While the departure from legality may deter some, the allure of owning a truly singular Ferrari prototype remains undiminished, a testament to automotive ingenuity and exclusivity.
