Kia is gearing up to introduce the refreshed 2025 Kia Carnival in Australia, promising significant tech upgrades and a slight bump in prices compared to its predecessor. The updated Carnival is set to hit the Australian market in the upcoming months, offering enhanced features and a revised pricing structure.

According to Redbook, the base model S petrol variant of the 2025 Carnival will start at $50,150 before on-road costs, marking a price increase of $2670 compared to its pre-facelift counterpart. Similarly, the S diesel variant will now be priced from $52,380 before on-road costs, representing a $2900 hike.

Notably, the reintroduction of the petrol model, which has paused since mid-2023 due to V6 engine supply constraints, contributes to this pricing adjustment. The 2025 Carnival lineup will align more closely with Kia’s naming conventions, with variants such as Sport, Sport+, GT-Line Lite, and GT-Line replacing previous grades.

Among these, the GT-Line Lite variant sees the most significant price difference, now priced at $5160 to $5390 higher in petrol and diesel versions, respectively. While a comprehensive features list is yet to be released, preliminary details reveal enhancements such as standard front parking sensors, a center front airbag, rear occupant alert, and an upgraded eight-speaker audio system for the Carnival S.

Higher trims are expected to offer additional luxury and convenience features, including a panoramic curved display, keyless entry, and an advanced sound system. Under the hood, the 2025 Carnival retains its previous drivetrains, with a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine and an optional 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine, both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
