Acquiring a scarcely used 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in Texas at a reasonable price is no easy feat. It almost seems like a task for a legendary figure like John Dutton or perhaps his equally skilled negotiator, Beth Dutton. Who knows, with her charm, you might even drive away with the car for free.

Recently, a 2023 Demon 170 was up for auction in Texas but didn’t meet its reserve price, with the highest bid reaching $160,000. Given its original retail price of $124,441, it’s clear the seller had high expectations. This particular Demon 170, with only 26 miles on the odometer, shares similarities with others we’ve seen recently, including its Go Mango exterior.

In the past months, we’ve seen examples with even fewer miles failing to sell, with one dealership rejecting an offer of $162,000 for a Demon with delivery miles.

However, the market has since corrected itself, with a 262-mile Demon selling for $156,500 last week. Therefore, a $160,000 price tag for this 26-mile example seems more than reasonable.

In terms of features, this Challenger boasts all the signature elements, from the Air-Grabber hood to the satin black roof and decklid graphics. Inside, you’ll find luxurious touches like black Alcantara and Laguna leather seats, Demonic Red seat belts, and carbon fiber trim. The optional Premium Group adds extra perks like blind spot monitoring and an impressive 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

Under the hood lies the powerful 6.2-liter high-output Hemi V8 with a 3.0-liter supercharger, delivering anywhere from 900 to 1,025 horsepower depending on fuel type. Paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, this Demon 170 is ready to unleash its full potential on the road.
