The newest Lamborghinis and Ferraris are frequently the center of attention in the supercar market, but true enthusiasts know that ultimate performance isn’t solely defined by brand names. A showdown between the Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and Porsche 918 Spyder proves this point.

The Lamborghini Revuelto, a testament to Lamborghini’s embrace of electrification, boasts a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors, delivering a staggering 1,001 horsepower and 783 lb-ft of torque. Despite its weight of 3,906 lbs, it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph.

On the other hand, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, combines a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors, producing 986 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Weighing 3,461 lbs, it matches the Revuelto’s acceleration, hitting 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 211 mph.

Bringing up the rear is the Porsche 918 Spyder, armed with a 4.6-liter V8 engine and two electric motors, delivering 875 horsepower and 944 lb-ft of torque. Weighing 3,690 lbs, it trails slightly in acceleration, reaching 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, with a top speed shy of the others at 211 mph.

In head-to-head races, the Revuelto initially leads but is eventually overtaken by the SF90. Despite its impressive performance, the 918 Spyder falls short in every race. Ultimately, the SF90 emerges victorious, showcasing Ferrari’s blend of electrification and performance prowess.
