BMW’s revealing of the facelifted 4 Series Coupe and Convertible was swiftly followed by the release of the refreshed 4 Series Gran Coupe and the all-electric i4. Notable changes in exterior design include Laserlight taillamps, a feature inspired by the M4 CSL, and refined headlights and kidney grilles.

The integration of low and high beams into a single module, along with Welcome Light Animation, enhances the lighting experience. Notably, the i4’s grille features a partially closed design, reflecting its reduced cooling needs compared to traditional ICE models.

Moving to the rear, the M Sport Package adds a gloss-black aerodynamic diffuser to both the i4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe, while the internal combustion 4 Series Grand Coupe boasts larger 4.0-inch exhaust finishers for a sportier appearance. Standout wheel options include the 19-inch M aerodynamic wheels and 20-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic wheels, complemented by new exterior paint colors like Fire Red and Cape York.

Inside, mild updates include a polygonal-rimmed steering wheel for most models, with the M Sport Package offering a sportier design. Noteworthy technological upgrades include the BMW Curved Display, BMW iDrive with QuickSelect, and Augmented View for the BMW Maps navigation system, enhancing the driving experience with cutting-edge features.

Under the hood, the 2025 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe exclusively adopts mild-hybrid powertrains, ranging from the rear-wheel-drive 420i and 420d to the potent 3.0L six-cylinder engines of the M440i xDrive and 430d xDrive. The M440i xDrive boasts 386 horsepower, with an additional 11 horses from the mild-hybrid system, promising exhilarating performance.

Meanwhile, the i4 lineup offers four variants, including rear-wheel-drive and xDrive options, catering to diverse preferences with impressive power and driving range. Scheduled for production in July 2024, these refreshed models signify BMW’s commitment to innovation and performance in the electric and combustion-powered segments.
