In 2025, Ram has some exciting updates for its 1500 pickups, especially for off-road enthusiasts. While the spotlight is on the new RHO model with its TRX body and suspension, there are two other new trims that cater to different needs and budgets.

One of them is called the Rebel X, which offers extra features for off-road use compared to the regular Rebel. The other is the Warlock, which continues from last year but now comes with a new straight-six engine.

The Rebel X is the top-tier Rebel model, marking 10 years of the nameplate. It builds upon the Rebel Level 2 equipment group, which already includes features like a large center touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, heated seats, and a premium sound system. It adds a new feature called Rough Road Cruise Control, which helps maintain speed on dirt roads and adjusts suspension damping and steering weight as needed.

The Rebel X also gets special decals, sporty seats, paddle shifters, and red interior accents. It retains the off-road capabilities of the Rebel, including a suspension lift, Bilstein shocks, and rugged tires. Under the hood, it has the standard-output Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine with 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque. The starting price for the Rebel X is $66,190.

The Ram 1500 Warlock, on the other hand, is designed to be an affordable option that still offers some off-road upgrades. It comes with a suspension lift, skid plate, and black accents, but it doesn’t have all the fancy features of the Rebel. Instead, it has basic infotainment, physical gauge dials, and a cloth front bench.

However, it still includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and other safety features. Optional extras include heated seats, a spray-in bedliner, and side steps. Like the Rebel X, the Warlock is powered by the Hurricane engine, delivering 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque. The starting price for the Warlock is $56,255.
