Jeff Summers, Head of Advertising at Ram Trucks, recently shared an extensive post on LinkedIn detailing ‘The Convoy,’ the promotional video showcasing the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and other trucks in the lineup, promising an exciting future for Mopar enthusiasts.
Ram Trucks made waves last month with the introduction of several new or updated models for the 2024 and 2025 model years. While the spotlight initially shone on the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, the American automaker went above and beyond, revealing a total of five models in the half-ton and heavy-duty families.
Among the stars were the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, boasting 540 hp from its 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six twin-turbo engine, the exclusive Rough Road Cruise Control-equipped 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X, the nostalgic 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock paying homage to its heritage, and the robust 2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon and 2024 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Rebel.
Despite the anticipation surrounding the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, Ram Trucks emphasizes that it’s not a direct successor to the 700-hp 2024 Ram 1500 TRX. Summers hinted at future developments, teasing “the next Ram High HP vehicle with three letters.”
In his detailed LinkedIn post, Summers also highlighted 20 Easter eggs discovered by keen-eyed fans in ‘The Convoy,’ with number nine specifically mentioning the dirt bikes featuring the number 540 for the RHO and a deliberately blank number on the other.
As anticipation builds for the refreshed fifth-generation Ram Heavy Duty lineup, enthusiasts speculate about the possibility of a new 1500 version embodying the spirit of the TRX. With upcoming releases like the Ram 1500 REV all-electric pickup truck and the Ram 1500 Ramcharger range-extended PHEV, the future holds the potential for either a Hurricane-powered truck or an electrified powerhouse to carry on the legacy of the TRX.
