The Caterham Seven lineup offers a diverse array of models, ranging from the turbocharged 660cc Seven 170 to the supercharged 2.0-liter Seven 620. Across the English Channel, the pinnacle of the lineup is the Seven 485 Final Edition.

Comprising two variants, Caterham plans to produce a total of 85 units for the European market. This allocation includes 60 units of the Seven 485 Final Edition and 25 units of the Seven 485 CSR Final Edition, with the latter denoting performance enhancements.

Setting the Final Edition apart is its distinctive finish, featuring a choice of five premium body colors, satin-black stripes, and bespoke interior details. Each Final Edition model is adorned with a numbered plaque, a lightweight carbon-fiber dashboard, and Final Edition embroidery adorning the seats.

The interior exudes sportiness and sophistication, with black leather and Alcantara upholstery, complemented by Sports Hex-style seats and four-point harnesses. Technical enhancements include black-face gauges, black lettering on the transmission tunnel, and premium black carpeting for the footwells.

While both versions share the same naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Ford engine, producing 228 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, the CSR Final Edition boasts a larger chassis to accommodate its inboard front suspension layout. Weighing in at 605 kilograms for the CSR and 560 kilograms for the Final Edition, these lightweight roadsters offer exhilarating performance on both road and track.

As Caterham bids farewell to naturally aspirated Sevens in Europe, the Final Edition models represent the culmination of decades of engineering excellence and driving enjoyment. With production set to commence soon, enthusiasts can look forward to owning the ultimate expression of Caterham’s iconic sports car heritage.
