Race Motive threw an electrifying speed fest at the iconic Pocono Raceway, where the asphalt echoed with the thunderous roar of engines hitting a blazing 65 mph (105 kph). The battlefield was set for an epic clash featuring the titans of the road: the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, the Chevrolet Camaro, the Ford Mustang Mach 1, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Nissan GT-R, the BMW M3, and a dark horse contender, the Cadillac ATS.
Anticipation hung heavy in the air as spectators eagerly awaited the revelation of the ultimate victor in this star-studded showdown. The stage is set, the engines revved—let the race for glory begin!
In the first race, the Vette raced against the Chevrolet Camaro, with the Stingray hitting 142.62 mph (229.5 kph) and the Camaro reaching 164.32 mph (264.4 kph). Next, the Mustang Mach 1 challenged the Stingray, with the Ford clocking 142.64 mph and the Corvette at 144.11 mph (231.9 kph).
Then, the Cadillac ATS made a surprise appearance, but despite its efforts, it fell short just before the speed trap. The Corvette reached 143.92 mph (231.6 kph), while the Caddy managed only 132.06 mph (212.5 kph).
The wild Dodge Challenger Hellcat also attempted to outshine the Chevy supercar but failed. The Hellcat reached 131.96 mph (212.3 kph), while the Stingray hit 141.55 mph (227.8 kph). The BMW M3 came close to the Corvette, with the Bavarian reaching 139.95 mph (225.2 kph) and the American favorite at 142.13 mph (228.7 kph).
To spice things up, a Nissan GT-R joined, finishing at 180.64 mph (290.7 kph), leaving the Corvette trailing at 143.07 mph (230.2 kph). Another GT-R clocked 186.77 mph (300.5 kph), further highlighting the Stingray’s speed.

The standard 2024 Corvette Stingray starts at $69,995, with a 6 .2-liter V8 engine delivering 490 hp and 495 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. The Z51 Performance Package adds 5 extra hp and lb-ft of torque, bringing it to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft or 637 Nm.
