The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a rare SUV that retains its value exceptionally well. Often, brand-new models sell for over MSRP due to their unique design. Mercedes knows this and capitalizes on its popularity.

Not all G-Wagens are alike. There’s the entry-level G 550, the flagship AMG G 63, and options for tuning packages from Brabus, Hamann, or Mansory. Today, we focus on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, specifically in the G Manufaktur Exclusive Edition with a stunning Manufaktur Copper Orange Magno finish.

This optional package adds tinted LED lights, a sunroof, Parktronic sensors, running boards, quadruple exhaust outlets, and 22” AMG wheels. Inside, it features black Nappa leather seats with massage, heating, ventilation, carbon fiber accents, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a Burmester sound system.

This G 63, with over $37,000 in extras, has an MSRP of $221,950. Despite its appeal, after being auctioned, a top bid of $215,000 was rejected by the seller, hinting at a higher reserve price. Powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, it delivers 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, mated to a nine-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox.
