The Renault Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 hp has a combined power output of 300 metric horsepower, which is equivalent to 206 brake horsepower and 221 kilowatts. Its powertrain builds on the 197 hp E-Tech hybrid by adding an electric motor at the rear axle and a 22 kWh battery.

The 1.2L three-cylinder engine produces 148 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, an increase over the regular variant. The front electric motor adds 69 hp and 151 lb-ft, while the rear electric motor contributes 134 hp and 144 lb-ft. Additionally, a high-voltage starter generator provides 34 hp and 37 lb-ft, bringing the total to 300 hp.

With a fully charged battery, the Rafale can travel up to 62 miles in electric mode, though power is limited to 158 hp and speeds up to 84 mph. Recharging from 0 to 80% takes two hours and ten minutes, with a full charge taking nearly three hours.

Renault claims the Rafale accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 6.4 seconds, 2.5 seconds faster than the regular hybrid. It covers the 50-75 mph sprint in 4.0 seconds and completes the standing kilometer in 26.9 seconds.

The model is available in two trim levels: Esprit Alpine with 20-inch alloys and Alpine styling, and Atelier Alpine with a chassis tuned by Alpine’s engineers, special suspension components, 21-inch wheels, and Continental sports tires. The Atelier Alpine also features exclusive Satin Summit Blue bodywork, a Starry Black spoiler, adaptive suspension, and customizable chassis settings via the multimedia screen. Renault will announce UK pricing in June.
