Hyundai’s Ioniq 5, a global electric crossover sensation, is poised to fascinate Australian drivers. Since its March update, the model has garnered significant attention, particularly its high-performance N variant, which has clinched the 2024 World Performance Car award and showcased its capabilities at the demanding Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

While Hyundai has initiated domestic production of the standard Ioniq 5 at its Georgia facility, the brand’s electrification strategy extends worldwide. Following its UK introduction, Australia is the next market to welcome the redesigned Ioniq 5.

This updated model boasts refined aesthetics, a suite of new features, advanced technology, and extended range options enabled by new battery configurations. To further enhance the appeal, Hyundai offers an optional N Line Pack for select trims, featuring exclusive design accents and performance-oriented elements.

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 represents a significant evolution of its award-winning predecessor. At its core is an advanced Connected Car Next-Generation Cockpit (CCNC) boasting a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. This cutting-edge system is complemented by Bluelink-connected car services and over-the-air (OTA) updates, ensuring the Ioniq 5 stays at the forefront of technology.

Safety is paramount, with upgraded SmartSense features including enhanced Forward Collision-avoidance Assist, Highway Driving Assist, and Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, all paired with the convenience of standard Remote Smart Parking Assist.

Underpinning the Ioniq 5’s extended range are larger battery packs, while a suite of premium features including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, multiple USB-C ports, and redesigned alloy wheels enhance the driving experience.

The Epiq trim further elevates the Ioniq 5 with LED projection headlights equipped with Intelligent Front Lighting System. With a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations and varying power outputs, coupled with customizable options like matte premium paints, the N Line option pack, and a digital mirror, the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 offers a tailored electric SUV experience for Australian drivers.
