Nicola Martini, the Italian maestro of custom motorcycles, has created a stunning Triumph Rocket III that’s a testament to his decades of experience and passion. Hailing from Verona, Italy, Martini’s workshop has been a hub of motorcycle customization for over two decades. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and innovative designs, Martini’s creations are sought after by enthusiasts worldwide.

Inspired by the classic Triumph motorcycles of the past, Martini transformed a 2004 Rocket III into a timeless masterpiece. Stripping away the excess chrome and bulky stock bodywork, he highlighted the bike’s imposing engine and gave it a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The bike’s muscular lines and aggressive stance are further enhanced by the custom paint job and handcrafted accessories.

Under the hood, the Rocket III’s powerful 2.3 liter inline-three engine remains largely untouched, delivering a thrilling ride without compromising reliability. However, Martini did make some modifications to the intake and exhaust systems to improve performance and enhance the bike’s distinctive sound. The custom exhaust pipes not only look stunning but also contribute to the bike’s aggressive roar.

The “Big Bob,” as it’s affectionately known, is more than just a motorcycle; it’s a work of art that showcases Martini’s talent and passion. This stunning custom creation is a testament to the enduring appeal of classic motorcycles and the limitless possibilities of customization.

The stock Triumph Rocket III, known for its imposing presence, was given a subtle yet striking makeover by the talented team at Mr. Martini. The transformation, while not as dramatic as some custom builds, perfectly enhanced the bike’s iconic appeal. A key modification was the removal of the bulky exhaust system, replaced by a more streamlined setup that improved both aesthetics and performance.

A custom made metal cover, reminiscent of an airplane component, concealed the exhaust headers, adding a unique touch. The cooling system was upgraded with a larger aftermarket radiator, ensuring optimal engine performance. The bodywork received a significant overhaul as well. A custom made faux gas tank, meticulously crafted to house the bike’s electronics, replaced the original unit.

The fuel tank was relocated beneath the seat, with the associated fueling hardware exposed. A flip up filler cap, surrounded by a tailor-made solo saddle, provided easy access. The rear end of the bike was transformed with a modified subframe and a custom tail section that exuded a classic cafe racer vibe. A neat license plate bracket and a circular LED taillight completed the rear end.

A replacement fender replaced the stock unit, while the original rear mudguard was deemed unnecessary thanks to the dual-purpose function of the faux gas tank. To enhance the bike’s handling and comfort, the suspension was upgraded with adjustable Bitubo rear shocks, while the stock inverted forks were retained. The OEM wheels and brakes were retained and repainted, and new Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra tires were fitted.

The twin headlights were replaced with a modern LED module, providing improved visibility. The cockpit received a series of upgrades as well. A single Motogadget ChronoClassic dial replaced the twin factory gauges, offering a cleaner and more modern look.

A new chrome-plated handlebar and mid-mounted footpegs provided a comfortable riding position. The final touch was the paint job, expertly executed by Garage 66. A light shade of green was chosen as the primary color, complemented by a black stripe and silver Triumph tank logos.

The effect was stunning, showcasing the bike’s timeless beauty. The Mr. Martini team’s work on this Triumph Rocket III was a testament to their skill and attention to detail. While the transformation was relatively subtle, it perfectly enhanced the bike’s iconic appeal and made it a truly unique and desirable machine.
