The Ram Heavy Duty is inching closer to its debut, which will take place at a date that has yet to be disclosed. Before that happens, the pickup truck is put through rigorous testing to ensure it withstands any challenges it may face on and off the road.

For the first time, Ram has revealed official photos of the upcoming model without any camouflage. The final phase of testing involved a cooling test, one of the most crucial aspects of performance.

Ram is confident that its trucks will perform well in real world conditions and knows that people will be eager to catch a look at the upcoming model. To avoid blurry photos, Ram has released the first official photos of the Ram Heavy Duty and Ram Chassis Cab without any camouflage.

These three photos are particularly relevant as they showcase both the front and rear ends of the models from generous angles. The photos reveal trucks with a redesigned front grille flanked by slimmer LED headlights split in two. C-shaped LEDs are visible at the rear, while the front and rear bumpers appear to remain unchanged.

We can also expect changes in the cabin of the Ram Heavy Duty vehicles. The 12.0-inch screen is likely to replace the smaller 8.4-inch display. A larger 14.5-inch display may also be available as an optional upgrade. The 2025 Ram Heavy Duty is set to make a significant departure from its predecessor.

The iconic HEMI V8 engine has been retired, replaced by a new twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that offers impressive power output options. While the exact details of the engine lineup remain under wraps, the truck is expected to deliver either 420 or 540 horsepower.

Ram’s commitment to performance is evident, as the brand has consistently pushed the boundaries of towing capacity and power output in the pickup truck segment. The Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, renowned for its exceptional torque and towing capabilities, will continue to be offered in the Ram 2500/3500 lineups.

Additionally, the 6.4-liter V8 engine may also remain available, providing a balance of power and fuel efficiency. The 2025 Ram Heavy Duty is poised to maintain its dominance in the segment with its proven suspension design and unmatched owner loyalty.
