Today, in this article, we will discuss the all-new car, ‘Renault Zoe.’ It is an electric car with an elegant design and advanced technology. This car will come in three different models, which are Play, Iconic, and GT Line. There will also be four variants of engines, which are R110, R135, R110 Rapid Charge, and R135 Rapid Charge. Let’s talk about the specifications of this fantastic car.
Under the hood, there will be Synchronous with wound rotor electric engine technology, which will run on the Z.E. 50 type battery. R110 will generate 80 kW or 108 horsepower at peak power rating or rpm of 3.395 to 10.886 and 225 Nm of torque at peak power rating or rpm of 500 to 3.395. R135 will generate 100 kW or 135 horsepower at peak power rating or rpm of 4.200 to 11.163 and 245 Nm of torque at peak power rating or rpm of 1.500 to 3.600. There will be a 52 kWh usable capacity of a Lithium-ion battery with 400 volts and 326 kg of weight. It will have 12 modules and 192 cells. Adjustable single and three-phase, 2 kW to 22 kW charger can be used to charge the battery.
Charging time (0-100 %) will be of 6 hours if you use the 11 kW station with 16 A and three-phase. If you use DC 50 kW quick charge, then the battery will charge 80 percent in around 1 hour and 10 minutes. There will be only one forward gear in the car. The performance of the car is awesome. The car’s top speed will be 84 mph and 87 mph for R110 and R135, respectively. The car will reach 0-60 mph in just 11.4 seconds in R110 and 9.5 seconds in R135. There will be a power steering with a 10.56 Turning circle between curbs (m) and a 2.73 Number of steering-wheel turns. A ventilated disc brake will be there.
The interior includes a leather gear lever, black fabric seat upholstery in PLAY, 100% recycled fabric seat upholstery in ICONIC, partly recycled fabric, and part synthetic leather seat upholstery in GT LINE, Synthetic leather steering wheel, heated seats, and heated leather steering wheel. The exterior includes Full LED headlights with C-shape DRL, Chrome stamped grille, Tinted rear windows and rear screen, Rear disc brakes, Metallic paint, Body-coloured door handles, Black door mirrors with grain-effect, and Body-coloured door mirrors.
The safety and security features include two driver and two passenger airbags, Hill-start Assist, ABS with emergency brake assist, Electronic stability program, Anti-slip regulation, Understeer control logic, Front fog lamps, Automatic headlights and wipers, Automatic activation of hazard lights upon emergency braking, Renault Anti Intruder Device automatic door locking, ISOFIX fittings on outer rear seats and front passenger seat, Tyre inflation and repair kit, Tyre pressure monitoring system, and low-speed pedestrian warning. Driver assistance features include Cruise control, 10-inch color driver’s display, Front and rear parking sensor, Rear-view camera, Lane departure warning, lane keep assist, Blind spot warning, Automatic high or low beam headlight activation, Traffic signal recognition, Over-speed protection, and Auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The Infotainment and connectivity includes a 7-inch high-resolution touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, 2 USB port, 1 AUX port, a Navigation System, Wireless charging, Bose premium 3D sound system (it is optional), 12V outlet under the dashboard, and Renault easy connect services with three years plan. A hands-free parking system will be there, but it is optional. Renault gives an easy life service plan with two different choices includes three years or 30000 miles and four years or 40000 miles. Seating capacity will be of five members in all the models.
Release Date and Pricing
We do not know the exact date, but maybe the car will be released in February 2021. The price of the car will start from £26,995 for model PLAY and R110 engine.
