Places in Asia like Thailand, Seoul, and Indonesia are interested in hosting F1

F1 thinks it has enough races in the United States, so it’s looking at other places where people want to see races.

At an event in Monaco, Frank Maffei, from F1, said the Chinese Grand Prix was a success after being away for four years. He thinks having a Chinese driver helped make it popular. Now, other places in Asia like Thailand, Seoul, and Indonesia are interested in hosting races too.

The prime minister of Thailand went to the Emilia Grand Prix last weekend and wants to have a race in Bangkok in 2026 or 2027.

Maffei also talked about the Las Vegas Grand Prix. F1 is now in charge of organizing it, so they understand what fans want better. They hope this year’s race will be even better than last year’s, which had some problems.

Maffei said they learned a lot from the first race in Las Vegas and hope to make things smoother this time. He thinks they’ll be more efficient and cause less disruption to the community.

F1 is looking at where fans are, who can organize good races, and who can afford them, to decide where to have races in the future.
