The 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz undergoes a significant facelift, boasting refreshed aesthetics and the introduction of the rugged XRT model. Notably, the optional dual-screen setup receives an upgrade, now featuring dual 12.3-inch displays housed within a single curved unit. Hyundai’s compact pickup truck gets a fresh appearance with a redesigned front end and an array of attention-grabbing color options.

Inside the cabin, the center console receives a makeover, accommodating the dual 12.3-inch screens within a sleek curved housing. The off-road-oriented XRT trim receives a substantial boost in style, sporting exclusive design elements and brand-new 18-inch wheels wrapped in robust all-terrain tires. Hyundai’s venture into the pickup truck market initially made waves in 2022, showcasing a distinctive design and potent turbocharged performance.

Now, for the 2025 model year, the Santa Cruz undergoes a comprehensive revamp, aligning its aesthetics with the refreshed 2025 Tucson SUV. The latest iteration exudes confidence with its bold front fascia and striking wheel designs, complemented by the introduction of two new vibrant paint colors. The XRT trim, previously characterized by minimal alterations, now exudes a more rugged demeanor, featuring unique front and rear bumper designs that enhance the approach angle.

The grille receives a distinctive update, while the inclusion of 18-inch wheels with 245/60 all-terrain tires amplifies off-road capability. Inside, the Santa Cruz impresses with a revamped cabin layout, incorporating a curved housing that seamlessly integrates the digital gauge cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.

Ergonomically designed central controls enhance user experience, with physical switchgear retained for essential functions like audio, navigation, and climate control.

The introduction of an overhead shelf above the glovebox adds practicality, providing extra storage space. Noteworthy cabin upgrades include restyled air vents, a steering wheel, and a rear-seat center armrest with integrated cupholders. Equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all trim levels, the Santa Cruz ensures seamless connectivity, complemented by an array of USB-C ports.

Introducing the Forward Attention Warning driver-assist feature, Hyundai enhances safety by monitoring the driver’s attentiveness using an infrared camera. Under the hood, powertrain options remain unchanged, offering a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine delivers a robust 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, coupled with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Optional all-wheel drive enhances versatility, while the Limited and XRT variants equipped with the turbocharged engine benefit from a new tow-centric drive mode. With towing capacities of up to 5000 pounds, the Santa Cruz remains a capable performer. Anticipated to hit dealerships in the summer, pricing details for the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz are yet to be announced. However, consumers can expect a moderate increase over the 2024 model, which currently starts at $28,275.
