Rolls-Royce made another version of the popular blacked-out Cullinan Black Badge. This one is for people who want a less usual style. The Cullinan Series II-based Black Badge has special outside details and carbon fiber trim. It takes 21 days to make the trim.

Rolls-Royce, which is owned by BMW, isn’t the only company that offers a blacked-out version of a car, but they do it more than most. In the front, the lit-up grille is black with some silver touches. But if you prefer, you can get the grille all in black. All the outside parts are also black, like the retractable Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, the trim around the window, and even the door handles. The car also has special 23-inch wheels and red brake calipers.

Inside, there’s a special Technical Carbon trim, like the one in the original Cullinan Black Badge. Rolls-Royce says this trim is made with six coats of lacquer, takes 72 hours to cure, and is polished by hand. There are 23 different pieces of trim, and it takes 21 days to make them.

One of the choices for the seats is a fabric called Duality Twill. It’s made from bamboo and is inspired by a park in France called Le Jardin des Méditerranées. This park has many exotic plants from around the world. Making a full Duality Twill interior needs up to 2.2 million stitches and 11 miles of thread. You can also choose other types of seats, and there’s even an option for a cooler for champagne.

The car has a big 6.75-liter V12 engine that’s twin-turbocharged to 591 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. It sends power to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rolls-Royce added a driving mode called “Low” that changes how loud the exhaust is and how fast the gears change when you press the gas pedal a lot. They also made the brake pedal go down less when you press it.

We don’t know yet how much more the Black Badge version will cost compared to the regular Cullinan Series II.
