In Saturday’s practice, the fastest speeds came from the second 20-minute session. Tyler Reddick from 23XI Racing had the quickest lap speed overall at 181.001 mph.

Reddick’s team has been doing well at Kansas lately, winning three of the last four races there, including Reddick’s win last fall.

Reddick said, “You know, those two races we had here last year, I wasn’t thrilled with the overall speed we had, necessarily. But we just stayed in the mix and got good finishes out of them.”

William Byron from Hendrick Motorsports was second fastest overall (180.222 mph), and Bubba Wallace, Reddick’s teammate, came in third (179.736 mph).

Noah Gragson was fourth, and Denny Hamlin, who won the spring race last year, was fifth.
